This week, news that South African start-up WhereIsMyTransport has raised a Series A extension round to fuel additional regional growth is introduced.

Also the news that, the Nigerian government announced on Friday that it was suspending Twitter’s operations in the country, the Lagos State Government has announced that commercial motorcycles, locally referred to as Okada will be phased out gradually, as alternative modes of public transport such as buses are phased in, and so on are introduced.
