進む大エジプト博物館建設と随所に生きる日本のノウハウ（人材育成から修復まで）

今回のZENMONDO動画では、建設が進む大エジプト博物館の現場の様子がCNNで特集されましたので、ご紹介させていただきます。当プロジェクトでは、日本による建設資金支援の他、和紙を使った保護・運搬方法や先端機器を使った非破壊検査など、さまざまな日本のノウハウが生かされており、日本とエジプトとの協働プロジェクトとして一丸となって活躍している姿が描かれています。
古代ファラオ時代の夢の再現に日本も貢献しており、より親近感を感じていただけるのではないでしょうか。コロナ禍により移動がままならない部分もありますが、こういった動画を通じ身近に感じていただければ幸いです。
For our latest ZENMONDO video, we would like to introduce the scene of the construction of the Great Egyptian Museum featured on CNN. In this project, various Japanese know-hows such as Japanese construction fund support, protection and transportation method using Japanese traditional paper (Washi), and non-destructive inspection using advanced equipment are utilized. This collaboration between Japan and Egypt shows how both countries are working together as one.
Japan’s contribution realized the ancient dreams of the ancient Pharaoh era, which may help bring together the two countries even more. It is hard to experience foreign cultures due to the travel restriction caused by COVID-19, but we hope you can feel an essence of the Japan-Egypt relationship through these videos.
