The founder and the Managing Director of Essentia Studio LLC.
Before establishing Essentia Studio in 2018, he was with Ant Capital Partners, Co. Ltd., a private equity fund manager in Japan. There, he made a number of investments in SMEs. He also led fund raising processes and investor relationship efforts. At one time, he resided as the general manager of business administration in one of the portfolio company going through a turnaround phase.
Prior to joining Ant Capital, he was the acting CFO at Anicom International Inc. (now, Anicom Holdings, Inc.), where he raised more than JPY5.5 billion from a number of leading VCs and large business firms. His prior experiences include business development at another Japanese venture firm, M&A and corporate finance advisory at Credit Suisse First Boston (now, Credit Suisse Securities) and Chase Securities (now, JP Morgan Securities), as well as strategic consulting at Andersen Consulting (now, Accenture). He started his career at the Bank of Tokyo, and was sponsored for acquiring MBA from Harvard Business School.
He has a wealth of experiences in planning to detailed execution phases in various fields, with major emphasis in M&A strategy and execution.
