As a practicing surgeon, I am committed to tackling the daily challenges of saving lives. Through experiences in emergency care across advanced and developing nations, I’ve come to reappreciate the excellence of Japanese medicine and healthcare. In the era of COVID-19, receiving abundant gratitude for “ATARIMAE” has fueled my quest for unique avenues of societal contribution.
Beyond my professional endeavors, my passion for aviation has seamlessly blended with my personal interests. Pursuing this passion, I acquired an FAA airplane license in the US and later obtained JCAB pilot licenses for both airplanes and helicopters in Japan. Integrating a broad spectrum of knowledge from the aviation domain, I actively contribute to the advancement of space medicine as a guest researcher at JAXA.
