The statement, “RISK: Despite explaining the local hub concept and preferential measures, I cannot move forward due to the fixed notion of ‘risk’ associated with the Middle East and Africa for attracting Japanese companies,” was expressed by an ambassador of a certain country in the Middle East and Africa, where Mina Ito, the founder of ZENMONDO, was serving as an advisor.
This became the catalyst for her and the ambassadors of Egypt and the UAE to promote awareness of the “attractions” of doing business in the Middle East and Africa, beyond the notion of “risk.” With the support of both embassies, a founding anniversary reception was held in July 2018, marking the establishment of ZENMONDO as an information platform.
